Angry with her creators, she vowed revenge. Her unique traits are superior physical strength, natural pheromones which allow her to persuade both males and females, as well as being incredibly nimble and flexible. Over-augmentation of her genetic makeup caused unexpected physical side effects, such as her blue tinted skin and thorns. Costumes - Requires Base

Been working on this forever, finally decided to actually release it. This is a complete Alyx replacer, including the hurt EP2 variant after the hunter attack. It also contains all the necessary doodads to make it functional in HL2 and the episodes (even the picture above the c1a0 security desk that G-man is sitting at), including all the fancy bullshit shaders that you only see for two seconds. Behold! The model includes pretty much every shader that could possibly be used on a humanoid character in the Source engine, and much of that is thanks to LT_C's command of source engine materials, so I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to him. He is also responsible for the super-neat eye textures and eye shaders as well. The model also contains a gratuitous amount of jigglebone, but not where you would think;. Zippers, holsters, buckles, earrings, ears, hair, pouches, shotgunshells, and probably some I forgot as well.

I have never felt inclined to release the human version because it still needs a bunch of fixes, and I've already displaced all the source files in favor of newer projects, so that's probably not going to happen if I'm honest with you.

Well it's a shame for some us to be able to use that model and others not. "Unfinished" or not, the model itself still looks great.

Looks like the file wasn't completely downloaded. Try to download the file again and extract when it's done.

I fucking need this for SFM. If you're having trouble being able to add the ability to change body piece size in-game, ie, larger/smaller tittehs, I can show you a model or two that uses it for SFM.

I can't think of a reason why this model wouldn't work for SFM.

This model does work fine in SFM, but the newer version is designed specifically for SFM, with tons of helper bones and stuff. That version is technically done, I just haven't felt like releasing it, as making a release thread almost seems like more trouble than its worth.

Let me restate that this version works great in SFM, and even uses the default rig that comes with SFM. I have not bothered to package and release a newer version because there honestly doesn't seem to be a point. If anyone truly wants the model they can PM me, but I'm not wasting my time on a thread so that no one will even use the model anyway.

it would be cool to see a human version of this model. like human skin color and has bodygroups for the alien version and a human version.

Just because some characters aren't as publicized as others doesn't mean they aren't being utilized or appreciated. Cinnamon isn't as popular as chocolate but we absolutely need it from time to time :D I'd argue that answering PM after PM is a bigger hassle than a release thread, but I'm sending one to you anyway.

Hi, I have a problem with soria model. I droped files to the right places and it looks like this: When i spawn the model she appers as prop, falls on the ground and being unposable. I have orginal Garrys' Mod and newest version of course. On the screen you can see files in the soria folders. Can you tell me were the problem lies? sorry for my english btw. it's not my main language.

Sorry, can never be too sure! A lot of people running illegitimate copies of GarrysMod run into technical problems quite frequently. As for your problem, I'm not entirely sure what is causing the issue, as I have not used Gmod in over a year. I would wait for someone who uses Gmod more regularly to weigh in on it. My guess is that the major updates to Gmod are causing issues with the model, as it worked just fine before all the big changes. If you have SFM, I suggest you meander on over to the SFM section and grab the vastly improved model there!

I FINALLY FIXED IT! :tear: Solution was very simply. To fix ragdoll bug I had to turn off "Error Hide" addon. God bless Youtube because there i find a tip :mrgreen:

My good man. Ada, Leon, Jake, Chris and nude Rochelle was stiff as a stick suddenly. I was at a loss of what to do. Then I came over this post, removed error hide and behold! They are working again. Not from a game, they are animations by me. To Digg, try going through your addon list, it could be any number of things causing issues, but I couldn't tell you off hand. I have not used Gmod in a very long time.

Yup, for me it was pirate Soria stiff as a board. I would first disable as many nonessential tools as you can, and keep checking until she works.

It turns out I still had one file left over from the error hide mod in my garry's mod directory. I havent checked if she works now, but i dont care anymore, I have plenty of "adult" mods.

I'm having a tough time understanding, but the bottom line is that yes, this is just a model. Poses and animations are user generated, posed and animated in Source Film Maker or G-Mod. However if you check the Movies section, you will find plenty of already made videos for your viewing pleasure.

I have her on SFM and I gotta say she is my favorite, she's almost built for animation. The facial expressions, the flex options, her proportions. More models should be made with Soria in mind!!! :D

If you're using SFM, make sure you head over to the SFM Model Release section and check out that version, it's 10x better than this one!

Oh dear... what are your specs? The model has some very high-res normalmaps, usually takes me a second or two to spawn the model.

vaako, when you release trishka, will she be made gmod compatible as well? or just sfm?

That will be just SFM. Garry's Mod has become too unreliable and is missing some core features for my models to look and work their best, so I have dropped support for it.

The download to the Base of her doesn't load for me. I got the Pirate and dress versions but not the Actual base. Mind giving me some help please? :?

Never-mind. I got it. Now, i'm new here. How do i install the Nude one along with the Pirate and dress? And how do i install the Face poser? I got the nude one, but shes pink. I think shes in the wrong place. Should i put it in my addons folder? :?

I finally got soria to load nude. but i cant for the life of me get her outfits to work. I am a noob at this kind of stuff to be honest but i would like to learn. I tried to place the materials and models folders respectively but things just dont seem to work out.

I haven't loaded up Gmod in over a year, and I know it went through some major changes. I really couldn't advise you on how to get a modeling working in it at this point.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but vaako has said that he no longer supports Gmod, too unreliable and breaks the models (I agree) but, supposedly it isn't too hard to convert SFM models to work in Gmod

The straw that broke the camel's back is when I actually got to talk to Garry about the Gmod13 update, and I asked him for some extremely basic features, and he flat-out said no, because he didn't want to. I was asking for his faceposer to go to 96 flexes (the engine limit) and for jigglebones to work. The first fix would be so easy for him, and the issue only exists because of his laziness. The second issue is a problem he caused, and never fixed. It just so happened that same month the SFM beta came out. So I had no reason to ever again work in G-Mod, especially since SFM natively supported all the cool features I tried to pack into my models.

:( This is really unfortunate. This is my favorite model and it would be so much fun to work with in Gmod. I wish Garry would have been more open to your suggestions. At any rate, great work.

I wouldn't strike that possibility out as impossible, but seeing as the pirate and dress versions were only ever used 1 or 2 times each, that is a really low priority.

oh thought it would happen, thanks for the reply. ok so today i worked on soria in vtf edit and here how it came out. aham. i used the sfm skin of the human soria, ande here is where it comes. she still got the alien ears. i know what you thinking, got something working, but still having the alien parts. and btw vakko, i should of told you first and went with the texture change. you can still make the human soria model. very sorry. :|
